Dogs in the Adolescent Phase are often distracted and struggling! Their brains have not finished forming pathways, their hormones are changing, and the world is a pretty interesting place to be!
Training at the level that your dog needs is so important for your success and for all around happiness. So, whether your teen pup is more interested in playing with friends than in focusing on you and your manners, or your teen or adult is ready to dig into some serious manners lessons, from Playgroups & Group Walks, to Manners 1 and Manners 2, we have got your back!

Manners 1 - Acing Adolescence
For adolescents and adolescents at heart from approx. 6 months and up
Now that the early prevention tasks are on board, we can get a start on Manners. Socialization will continue to be important too!
We will focus on the BIG 3:
How to Greet People, Coming when Called, and Leash Skills
as well as enrichment and solutions for living with your big puppy as they go through their ‘Teens’!

This advanced level class will be increasing distractions and public places,
and is a great way to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test if that is something you want to try!

NOW that you have built some new behaviors to replace Jumpy Greetings, Leash Pulling and gotten your Coming When Called on board, it is time to generalize these for the real world as well as add some really useful new behaviors!
Class will take place both in the studio and on the road!

PLAYGROUPS
During PLAYGROUP we talk and learn about Play Skills and Body Language, and do some light duty training when it feels right, using Force Free, Consent Based methods.
Continue to flex & build their play skills as they move into the adolescent development period.
Training Opportunity for SUPER SIMPLE versions of things like, Coming When Called, Sit for Greeting People, and more.
Learn more about how dogs learn and how to apply that knowledge to help you problem solve in the home.
